Driver door hinge ?

Hi I'm new to the board and Vipers in general. Just brought my 98 GTS home last night!!! I noticed that the driver's door doesn't detent in the open position like the passenger side, is there an adjustment or do I need to replace the door hinge?? Thanks in advance Ron

Yep made the search and got my answer...

I had this problem on my 99 gts outside a busy shop ,what a nightmare the spring cracked when i opened the door and the door stuck wide open and there was no way of closing it.the only thing i could do was to strip it down and drill the rivet out which holds the sprung steel to the main hinge body with loads of passing piss taking lookers on.looking how dry it was i would suggest regular greasing as it is a crap design
