Well I dynoed my 08 yesterday. It was a four wheel drive Mustang Dyno and it is a super heartbreaker. Here are two dyno vids. I made 465 hp and 430 tq. A zr1 was after me and he made 472 and 470 tq just as a comparison.

I will post graph soon.

I also did a 1/4 mile run and ran 7.48 in 1/8 at 95 MPH and 11.7 in 1/4 at 118 mph with a 1.7 60 foot. Anyone else dyno on a mustang dyno?

There was also a GTR that made 1050 HP to all four wheels. Has ran a 6.17 in the 1/8 at 126 MPH. That thing moves some air.

That does seem low, 525+ is what I seem to recall from stock Gen 4.

is the 525 on a dynojet or mustang dyno? I figured this dyno reads low considering the zr1 only made 7 more horsepower.

Mustang dynos are known for lower ratings, but are argued to be superior for tuning purposes in their street simulation aspects. At least that's what I've gotten from dyno/tuner people in the past. The dyno # wouldn't concern me considering it's a mustang & the ZR1 rating.

But the 118mph trap speed sure seems low to me. My gen3 trapped 125mph with corsa & K&N only. I've not dragged the gen4 so I don't know, but I'd expect a trap of 126-128mph, so 118mph seems way low to me. Where are you? Altitude? That can have a very real affect also.

We have pretty good air here in Chattanooga, TN. I do not think it is that. I have never done a 1/4 mile run on a dyno so I am not sure as to their accuracy. Another mustang there was within a tenth of what he had just ran at a quarter mile track a week prior.
