Eastern Catalytic High flow cats

I recently installed these on my 2004 and happy with the results. I have stock headers and Borla exhaust and the car sounds like it should. I did not see much when I searched the forum so I thought I would share some things that would be helpful.

  • Outlet pipe is 3 inches. used 3" to 2.5" adapter and had to do some slight cutting on the cats. I bought these adapters in stock at Advance Auto Parts.
  • http://showmetheparts.com/easterncatalytic/ The two part numbers are 20363 and 20362 (right) and (left).
  • WD-40 on the V-Band will do wonders when removing the old cat.
  • Be sure and install the exhaust tip so it is slightly forward in the side sill outlet hole. When the exhaust heats up it gets longer and will push towards the back of the hole.
  • side sills are now much cooler to the touch.
