Luke, please be advised that the few sets of Viper pads you received with your opening EBC order should really not have been included. GreatBrakes.com is the authorized and protected USA distributor for EBC pads for the Dodge Viper. I have an e-mail from EBC's President regarding this matter, advising me that his USA representative, Todd, has been directed to discuss and explain this issue to you ASAP, along with other orientation. I will also send you a private e-mail to explain further.

Hey, virtually all of us that work for GreatBrakes also do business with you guys at the Tire Rack. We love you, so there are no hard feelings here, because you simply were not advised ahead of time. Personally, I think it is wonderful that you are joining us as an EBC distributor in this country. It just adds that much more credibility about how great these UK made pads really are, and at such excellent prices. Perhaps we can even help each other out in the future, if one or the other of us is out of stock on something a customer or dealer need badly.

Hey, what bugs me, is that these UK pads that have the added cost of USA shipment (?) are still slightly cheaper in the US to buy!! I guess it's the UK taxes, but...I sent them my old OE pads (that were all broken up under heat conditions, several years ago, to see if they could help me, I favor EBC using them on my motorbikes for many years). I guess at least I've had the pleasure of using EBC on my GTS for several years over here, where as in the US you have only discovered them this year! Enjoy the pad.

I doubt your post accomplishes much of anything at all. Perhaps handling the situation more discretely would yield more favorable results. Just my $.02 ..... like it or not!

King is one of the most "politically correct" people I know. I think others would certainly join me in saying that he is a class act and has a very sound reputation amoung the viper nation. Also, he did mention that he would e-mail Luke privately.

Sorry for the post, but it's hard to gather ones intent via e-mail. I'm sure that King did not mean any ill will.
