Dear all,

For the past 3 days we had 27 Vipers (about 10% of all European Vipers) from 3 different countries attending the "Top of Europe : Viper meets Tirol" meeting organized by Viper Club Deutschland.

Having attended Viper related activities on both sides of the ocean I have to admit this has been hands down the best one so far. Markus (ViperGTS) and team : thanks a million ! You've done a stellar job !

Markus, I'll let you do the story....

Here's a pic of my wife & Viper on the Grosslockner :

I would like to thank all participants for coming to Tirol. It was a great weekend.
We’ve invited the Swiss VCA and we had a dozend of Swiss Vipers attending, Yves from Austria and John from the UK. Of course, our Viperclub (www.viperclub.de) was there with a lot of snakes!

It was a four-day event. Thursday – Sunday. Unfortunately, it was raining like hell on Friday and we had to shift part of the program to Saturday. Therefore, Friday was a relax day at the tremendous SPA of the hotel (http://www.seehof.com/html/panorama_hotel.htm).

Saturday was „driving day“ – many miles on curvy mountain roads and a beautiful scenery around...enjoy the pics

Nice pics Yves and ViperGTS. Many red and black cars, hardly any stripes and not one blue/white combo. Who decides which cars are sold/shipped abroad?

Wow Yves your wife just gets hotter and hotter! You are one lucky Bast'd to have landed her. Glad to see you still have Viper in you blood even if you are over seas where they are not as popular. Hope all is well.

I think the (lack of) stripes must be an intercultural thing.

Stripes seem to be a Nascar tradition, something we don't have over here. All our Porsches, Ferraris, Lambos are...stripeless. I do have to admit that I am not a big fan myself.

Regarding this being story book material : my wife is actually a writer. She's thinking about writing an article about this trip, in which case I will post a couple of extracts over here.
Should be funny, since this is a totally different world for her (she's American) which obviously causes lots of (sometimes funny) incidents.

Yves, I (we) would appreciate it very much! Ask her, please.

Stunning photos. Looks like you guys had a great time. Wondering about the air temp. I see snow on the roadside with most RT10 *******.

Talking about next year : Markus intends to organize a Monaco F1 trip. Crossing my fingers we will be able to find something half way affordable.
Maybe John can sleep a couple of us on his boss' boat (biggest boat in the marina).
Markus - we should communicate this way in advance. Maybe we can get a couple of Americans crazy enough to come over and join us. By the way - cool shot. How did you get the panoramic view ?

Gerald - you didn't see her wake up yet ! (just kidding)

Does seem strange as almost all the UK GTS cars have stripes and blue/white is the most common colour.

Heck even most of our RT/10/s have been striped aftermarket with red and silver the favourite colour.

You have to know that the nickname for the stripes is

"skunk stripes" ;)
