It seems so easy to do when taking a tight right on a ramp if you are having fun. The Viper is so sensitive, and you barely have to kiss a curb to get a srape on the polished bead of the rim.

How many of you have done this, and how did you get the blemishes/scrapes repaired?

Thanks,

Jim

I had the experiance with a curb. I got forced into taking a turn wide because of one-way traffic. Wasn't use to the longer nose on the \Viper and just barely scuffed the rim. Amazingly didn't touch the wheel. How that happened I'll vener figure out. Its not too bad but it's something someone that really knows would see.

D the same thing the first day I had the new car even though the new Michelins have rim protectors.

Damage was not too bad so just used Wet and Dry paper first 240 grit then 600,1000 then metal polish and wax and its as good as new.

I was parallel parking and the curb had a broken piece sticking out. It really scarred my wheel probably an 1/8 of inch deep. Would sanding it out and polish work on that you think?

You bet guys just put 'er up on jacks, make sure she's solid on them, then turn them in first gear up in the air and begin the blending polishing process takes just a couple minutes to repair a lip..
