Well, just picked up my RT at Chuck's place earlier today. Had him install a custom exhaust rear section...similar to the muffler delete option. This rear section, from the information I've been able to gather, seems to be from Fitzgerald Motorsports back when they were building performance Vipers. It has two small glass pack mufflers near the ends and chrome tips.
It really came out great, the car sounds much better than stock, but not too loud. The glass packs give it a nice deep tone. And yes, I remember when glass packs were the thing back in the day, but for this purpose it seems to be the right choice.
Next, whenever I get around to it, will be changing to hi-flow cats and that will be it for exhaust work.
