If I delete my stock exhaust muffler will I still be able to pass the inspection? I search the thread but nobody mention about it. It been said that if I do this that I'll get a bit more sound. I don't want to go too loud that my neighbor will hate me. I looked in Parts Rack and they have the Randomtech that has a cross over pipe. Is that a good choice or there is a better one? Thanks for any input.

It will still pass inspection. I had a muffler delete on my 02 RT/10 before upgrading to full headers, cats exhaust.

To be honest, putting on the cat-back was the best bang for buck upgrade. It really improved the sound and performance of the car.

Make sure if you get one, that there is a X-pipe of H-pipe so the sound will be balanced out.

I also have one for sale if interested. It was on my car for about 4,000 miles. You would not have to cut your exhaust to install it. PM me if interested.

As long as you have cats in it, you shouldn't have a problem. Don't buy a B&B if you don't want it to be loud, buy a corsa. They are about the quietest.

Deleting the rear muffler will have absolutely no impact on passing emissions. I did this first and put in an X-pipe. I was satisfied for about a week before I bought a Random Tech High Flow cat and Random Tech Full Cat Back system. That is the way to go. I would have saved money if I did that the first time! I then put on a Roe SC and still passed emissions! Go with the Random Tech Full catback. It is the best priced and best looking/sounding/flowing system on the market. Ask John B. for his opinion at Parts Rack.
