This weekend I am installing the Roe High Flow Cats with the Borla Exhaust. Just wondering if anyone has used the Header Exhaust Rap to insulate the side pipes under the sills ? And if so....does it work for heat control ??

Thanks

with the HF's, you wont need it.

when that stuff gets wet, it causes problems. forget it.

I would not use this stuff (especially not header wrap). It will induce corrosion on your pipes and clamps. And a few members have reported seeing smoke from material overheating.

And when all said and done.. I don't know how much it reduces heat.. Once its heat soaked. My sills felt just as hot.

best thing for heat control is air, flowing through the sills. Try JonB's vents, and forget the insulation.
