Clearly a joke. But now a days, with all the scams out there... selling/buying almost anything is just a joke.

I say if they won't use a REAL excrow service, or if it's not a local sale... move on.

That will bring up the overall used sales price average :smirk:

I had to laugh at the 'lowered price due to damage' comment.

Not a scam or a joke. He wants everyone to Email him a bid instead of bidding on it through ebay. Don't know why though.

With that hit on the front, it probably won't bring much more than $12k or so.
I wonder if he would really sell it for that.

"My guess would be the damage incurred around a couple thousand dollars, maybe less if you have your own shop."

New wheel and front end (parts, prep, paint and install) for about 2K...sounds about right

I just saw this car in person a couple weeks ago at the World of Wheels in Pittsburgh. It looks like the pictures were taken from there and it was crashed on the way home. It WAS in real nice condition. Who knows now.

$1500 for a set of tires? I think $600 for a set is more realistic. Musta bought them WAY back in the day.

Are you serious? 17" tires are $1300 shipped from Tirerack. Then, add mounting/balancing fees to that... you are much closer to $1500 than you are to $600.

I'd be VERY happy to pay $600 for a set of Pilots...
