I did it and am wondering the same thing...But blow up your motor and you're a genius...Sell your car with no claims, you have the warranty as a selling point.
It depends on how long you want your car for. Most people I spoke with on cars 3 years and older got their money back on the warranty. Nothing major, but the little things add up in a hurry!

My warranty cost me 2k, but I've already recieved a new oil pan and gasket, oil cooler lines and after the transmission is dropped tomorrow, a new rear main. <<<maybe, if that's the problem) I've only had my car a month, so YES I'd recommend the warranty based on my limited experience!

Can you get a warranty on a car that is highly modified - heads, cam, exhaust, etc.?

I don't think so - but I thought I would ask anyway.

4-48 should be about $1,400.00

they do not cover modified cars

they are transferable or you can get a prorated refund on time left
