Maybe already posted elsewhere, but noticed this on Yahoo today....they have the ACR listed as #3 http://autos.yahoo.com/news/10-fastest-american-cars.html
God! misinformation and old stereotypes smashed together into one big bag of bs.Another dinosaur, the Dodge Viper is on hiatus until the 2012 model year. Given its primitive engineering (the original was already a throwback when it was introduced back in 1991) and minimalist creature comforts, it is amazing the Viper has survived this long. Its iconic 510 cubic inch V-10 engine, which produced 600 horsepower, would clearly seem to be a thing of the past. Dodge says the new Viper will have a shorter hood, be accessible to more people, and be more forgiving on the road. Call it Viper Lite.
Yeah, really! when you could own a smart car.it is amazing the Viper has survived this long.

Exactly what I was thinking. "Primitive engineering"... lol. Should have been followed up by "good for a straight line but can't take a corner"
And once again, bringing up global warming. As if the ZR1 or Viper that make up less than 1 in 5000 of the cars driving around even have any influence on that whatsoever. How about all the housewives and retired people who drive around every single day ALL DAY in their big SUV's and full size pick up trucks doing menial tasks such as shopping and buying coffees?
