Finally resolved, got my car back!

After chasing an 0505 idle code problem for some time, I resolved the problem.
Several of you gave suggestions, after trying each, It was the PCM!

Turns out some of the 97's are starting to have some PCM problems that pop up after 10 years.

Special thanks to Mike 99 R/T 10 for sending me a used PCM to try, and pay if it worked. Only in the VCA would someone you've never met, send you a part without payment, to try out!

So it wasn't a PCM flash, but a PCM replacement? Wow, I hope that doesn't become a trend or I'll have to buy a spare.
