Any good or bad comments in regard to the low-profile hardtop made by A.P Engineering that sits flush with the RT-10's sports bar?

I like that it sits flush with the bar. Instead of on top of it. Must make the car look extremely low and exotic. I wonder how it looks in person? Anyone have pictures of their installation?

And are the sliding windows of good quality? They look cool.

I have the flush mount hard top. I like it very much. Takes seconds to install and remove. Unlike the 3 piece you do not have to remove the sport cap. However, it's a bit large for the trunk (LOL). The low profile also reduces head room for the vertically endowed.

Where did you buy your hardtop? Is it a one-piece flush mount? Do you have a picture? Does it make the car look lower?

Yeah, I guess I should have done a search beforehand.

But I have seen a flush-mount hardtop that is just one piece and completely flat -- no scoop. That is the one I am interested in. And if Bruce has one that allows for the sport cap, I like that too.

My mistake Anaconda, I thought the sport cap had to be removed for the 3 piece. That being the case, three piece is the winner.

It does have to be removed. Anaconda has the ORIGINAL 3 piece top that sits on top of the sport bar. That version has been replaced by the flush version that requires sport bar removal.

On a side note, there WILL be a flush mounted one piece hardtop that looks just like the 3 piece available by the first of next year. It will be offered by both A.P. Engineering and Vmania. The first versions will not have a scoop but a scoop version will be available sometime after.

Oh yeah, that is true. I do have the "Gen 1" three piece hard top. Honestly, I don't like the scoop thing (functional or not) on the new ones. No offense, I just don't think it matches the car properly or something.

However, I will say that the hardware is vastly improved and the "sit" toward the rear of the top on the new one is much better.
