What debate? Wasn't it decided that the forged pistons were superior to the cast ones?

If we didn't decide that back then, we know it's the case now - considering some of the forced induction guys rate their systems higher on the forged cars

GTS Dean - Not starting a debate - just curious as to if the new engine has gone back to forged pistons or the cast pistons are carried over.

This is exactly why I'm asking if the new SRT-10 has cast pistons or forged pistons - can the new engine handle higher forced induction due to forged pistons?

Sun Ra Kat,

I figured that was why you were asking.... I would hope forged, but I would guess cast, like the current Viper pistons.

Maybe Steve Ferguson would know?
