Where did you source these pads from?
If you don't already know, there are alot of real good pads available depending on your application.
Before you can't send those ones back (snip, snip), maybe give us some more details and we can make sure you get the best pad for your application.
Just a thought.

Curious as to brand of pad and source (OEM or aftermarket ???)...may be bad part number in database, mislabled part, or "sloppy" action by shipper.

Please let us know outcome, Paul

"I don't track the car so I don't need any special pad."

No that's true, but you do have at least 450hp in a 3445lb rocket that you need to slow down.

Hmmm, lifetime warranty, maybe the next pad of choice for Viper Days events. Just kidding.
Must be some kinda pro rated warranty system. I can't see them repacing worn out pads under warranty. Am I missing something?

Get rid of those pads and all the crap dust that will come with them...not tracking? Get EBC's.

The chain stores of auto parts use the "lifetime" warranty as a marketing tool. They figure the backyard mechanic will purchase something else while getting the free replacement part. I've used Bendix pads # 592 fronts and 491 rears with no problems. John

Paul, next time I get to AutoZone, will try a cross check.

P.S. REMEMBER, the "knobs" make a great place to ride sleds in the winter (as I grew up nearby)...not so sure about a Snake

I used to use the auto zone pads on my 96 vette 7 93 Lightning, They have Performance friction z rated pads with a LIFETIME warrenty. I would go through a set of pads a weekend @ road atlanta track days, bring my padless backing plates in & get another BRAND NEW PAIR! Same for the truck, wich the z rated pfc's significanly reduced stopping distances when towing. The Z pads for the vette were pretty good & had a lot of fade resistance, It did chew up the rotors a bit @ lapping speeds. It is definitely the best deal going.
