Front tire size help

I am putting Pilot Sport Cup tires on my 06 Coupe. I have found a good deal on 265/35/18. Will going down a size on stock wheels be a problem? I only race Quarter mile no track racing. I am also thinking it may be just a little more road friendly as the roads where I live are terrible. Thanks

If you are not doing any track racing, I think you will be ok. Narrower tread will probably help you for the 1/4 mile.

I wouldnt. I went to an autocross and the front plowed pretty bad. Im going one wider next time up to the ACR size. FYI
