Hey Vips,

how can it be that my FP doesn't turn when I turn the key? I'm sure, it is not broken. Battery was off for about half a year and a new engine's in there. Could this be something?
Hope for help

The fuel pump will only run for about 1 second upon key on. In other words, you can crank and crank and it will run one second, then stop, then intermittently run again.

To see if it is doing what it is supposed to, check for pressure on the intake manifold schrader valve (the big size tire valve.) Use a rag or watch your eyes.

thanks for your hint, but on key on, it doesn't start the fuel pump. I used to hear it for a second and then stop.
But it even doesn't turn anymore...

Can this be something with the alarm system?

If you get to the relay, you are at the wires to be able to try this:

In a GTS, connect K31 20 BR/VT (brown/violet stripe) to ground
In an RT, connect K31 20 BR (brown) to ground

This takes the place of the PCM function, which completes the ground to allow the fuel pump to run. Now every time your key is in run position, the fuel pump should run. Don't leave it this way.

If the pump runs, the the PCM is not switching closed. It could be the alarm system, since you said the battery has been out?
If the pump does not run, then you have an interruption of power to the pump.
