G3 heads better than G2..what happened?

A few yrs ago there was a lot of talk on the Viper forums about G3 heads being better than even ported G2 heads. Yet there's never been a landrush on G3 heads being put on G2's.

In fact I can't remember reading about anyone doing it?

What happened to all that promise?

In stock form gen3 is not better than ported gen2.
In fact there is not a whole lot of difference between the two when ported. The gen3 does it's best (above gen2) at the mid lift area.

That said...stand by for actual results from some Greg Good gen3 heads on a gen2. That's all I got to say about that. Forrest Gump

Okay..Well I remember some raving over the G3 heads somewhere..maybe it was the tuners at Norwalk back in 03.

what was the solution to the problem of the G3 heads not having a mount for a G2 power steering pump when installing them on a G2 btw?
