I don't know how many of you are in the same boat here. Getting a SRT, but needing to stack the vipers. I've been researching and planning for months (9'2" garage). I know lots have done it before.

I was ready to buy a Perfect Park until this collapse deal on the vette board. My thought was, any of these things can malfunction, it matters how its resolved. Well its 3 months since that collapse, and the poor guy hasn't seen a cent. If you follow the saga, the Perfect Park guys forwarded him to Gemini, who gave them to the insurance company, etc etc. Not good support IMO, so I've decided to cancel my negotiations with the Perfect Park Guys.

I looked into the Prowler group buy of the Cytech Double park (and coincidentally the failure vette guy is buying a Double Park as a replacement), and it looks like thats my direction.

Problem is, the stops aren't made for the viper, looks like a 46.5" and a 52", so we'd have to custom make a spot at 48" which they will do.

My questions:
1) Whats the heighth of the SRT with roof on, will a 48" stop work with enough spare room (like the GTS, 46" inch, +2" clearance.
2) Since its a custom stop, looks like they need a month to build
3) Is there enough people interested in this that we could do a group buy much like the prowler camp?

Thanks for the help/suggestions. Just kinda bitter, I had made a decision, now I gotta change it due to stupid insurance morons. I should crosspost this, but I hate doing that

I was going to stack 2 Vipers, but have since decided (I think) to only have one. I was going to manufacture 2" (if I remember correctly) aluminum spacers to glue or adhere to the stops of my Double Park. I tried walnut wood spacers and they worked fine, so assumed that aluminum would be fine also. With the spacers, two Vipers would fit in my 9'-2" high garage with sufficient clearance for both cars.

Just buy a house with a bigger garage (we know you got the $$$). Just make sure that it's big enough for two 97 GTS's!!
