Gas Gauge Problem

The other day while filling the car up I noticed the gas gauge will read between 1/2 to 3/4 of a tank when the car is full. For some reason the gas gauge will not indicate a full tank. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks!

It happens. You just need to have a Viper tech look at it. Happened to a few of my Ferrari friends as well. Apparently something in the tank does not accurately measure the gas or something to that nature.

This happens to my 99 RT/10 too all the time. The fuelpump stops at about 3/4 of a full tank. I can almost get it filled up by slowly adding a little portion gas, stop, add, stop, add...for 10 minutes. But I have never got it 100% full.
Can it be a 1999 problem?
