Can someone give me a good step-by-step description on how to remove the trim that surrounds the door handles on my '94? I'm repainting my dash and need to remove these pieces and I don't want to break them!! :omg:

Thanks in advance for your help,

=J

Push it in while sliding it back! More force! Four little molded in clips that break real easy and these things are really expensive! Careful now!!!

I've been able to slide it toward the rear about 1/8 inch but they still seem to be holding tightly..... I may give up and put it all back together rather than break anything...

Update:

OK.. so I removed the passengers side with no problems. I had so much trouble with the drivers side because the previous owner had glued it to the grey trim piece after breaking one of the tabs... Thankfully, he also bought a replacement and gave it to me along with a load of other goodies! Not a problem so I'll post a few pics of my dash refinishing project as it comes along.

- Later gents
