Does anyone know if a 2001 Motor will Fit in a 97 GTS?

I suspect it will but I am not an expert. Give the Wizard Chuck Tator a call as I am sure he can tell you all the little difference and what would need to be changed to accept the motor.

Same engine, it will fit, but I hope you're going to have it rebuilt with forged internals. Otherwise, why?

I found one that looks like what I want, it's been gone through and I am getting more info on it, I just wanted to be sure that it would fit first.
