general battery question

How long is an 02 rt10's battery good for (ex- holding a charge and starting the car no problem) if it sits and not in use (winter storage)? Generally speaking?

1.WITH alarm armed all the time?

2.WITHOUT the alarm on and drawing power?

How often would I have to go and start it etc.? in BOTH situations.

I have heard with the alarm on all the time and without starting it around 1 week? Without it armed I have heard months at a time?

so I need 2 answers please.

your times seem about right, if anything on the short side, though not sure if garage is really cold

look into something like this:

this is on the low end of price scale, but has been good so far

cold garage.northeast.no heat or power.pain in the butt to remove battery,wheel,cover,etc.. rather just leave battery on/in car... ***** that the alarm draws so much power while sitting..eh?

yep..read it.. thx guys. Some guy said he had an 02 as well and he did not start the car for 10 weeks and it was ok. I'm SURE he left the alarm off...
