Guys, quick question about Vipers and smog. My wife and I really love the GenI green with side pipes. However, GenI = no OBDII, meaning here in Georgia I will have to slap a viper on a dyno for a smog test. Does anyone have any advice? Should I look for a fairly stock car, like stock exhaust or cat-back exhaust? I definitely need to have one with cats, right? If so, do they need to be stock or high-flow cats? Is there an easy way to avoid this entire problem by slipping a smog guy some cash?
It seems like buying a GenII is an easy way to avoid all this, but I just love the purity of the GenI's with no windows, no air bags and side pipes, plus the prices are nice...
Thanks for your inputs, I'm trying to recover from owning a Corvette here...
