Got that back end cleaned up... (pics)

All I can say is WOW. I never knew that underneath all of that black soot were some beautiful white stripes and shiny red paint.

I used Meguiar's Scratch-X and a Griot's blue foam pad coupled with some paint clay. There are virtually no marks or stains left now on the bumper cover. Still have to do the part between the spoiler and the bumper though.

Total time including pulling all of the screws underneath was about 2 hours. With side exhaust now we'll see how long it lasts...

yea, i thoroughly clayed my rear stripes last winter when i got her. every once in awhile i'll break off a small piece of clay to touch em up.

But I really don't know how you like it. I mean, where are you the dirtiest? Should I just start rubbing some places and see what I can get to come off? Or maybe you like that top - down or bottom - up routine.
