Iwas caught last week racing a rice wagon (v-tec)plates"suprcgd"he's was chasing me for 5+ miles. Finally came to a light, with a clear road ahead, had to send him back to school.I let him take off,the (gentlemens bust),left him back 5+cars after second,to no suprise.Mr.50 caught me instant on,ofcourse. The new law(il)over 40,automatic wreckless driving, class A misdimeaner.6 cops showed up ofcourse.A couple cops talked the arresting officer out of towing the car.The cop said I was a good thing I blew off that guy,he was to far back to get on radar or it would be drag racing, licence revoked. With plates like "TOOOFST" ,hope the judge reads,"to fist".All in All,I need a black box, something more substantial than a detector.Ususally when you hit it,the road is clear, right.I've heard their are jammers that you can dial in the speed the cop reads.Double the price of the viper it would pay off!

I disagree get the best lawyer that you can afford and take it to court, if your lawyer is good he'll find more than one mistake in
the officer's procedure or equipment that would be cause for dismissal..

You should go to many forums in your area ie; Viper,Cobra,Corvette,Porsche and or look up the law firms in your area that have been able to land and win a big case and choose a lawyer that has done well enough in traffic law to become a partner of the firm..

After all that's done $$ it's a given that you'll be more careful in the future especially since that officer will want to reset his hook in ya' if you give him the chance..

I have done quite a lot of research on jammers and tried a couple and have found that they do not work. Passive jammers are legal but I have yet to see one that worked. Active jammers work but are illegal in the US. I have the instructions for converting a radar detector into an active jammer but have not tried it yet. don't believe what the manufacturers claim. Don't buy a jammer until you have seen an independent test on it. I bought one from rocky Mountain Radart for $250.00 and it was worthless. Nothing but a little black box with some bells and whistles. For a good explanation and tests on Radar detectors and Jammers go to: http://www.radartest.com/. I am in the process of converting a radar detector to an active jammer so stay in touch.
