Has anyone tried to adapt this AUDIBLE RPM indicator to a Viper?

I drove a Honda S2000 at the track with this installed, and it is trick; just listen and shift.
The instructions don't indicate the Tach signal voltage necessary, or how to compensate for 10 cyl.
