Has this happened to your Viper?

So I washed my car today. While I was washing my door I noticed something strange on my mit. It looked red, and sure enough it was a flake of my paint!

Has anyone else had this happen to their paint? I guess I'm going to take it into a dealer and have them look at it, I think it should be under warranty.

It happened to me around the top of the hood. I am sure it's normal.

Since that is not a highly visible area, I would just dab on a little touch-up paint.......

Is that "flake" where a possible rivet could be touching the door? Under hard acceleration the door can flex and come in contact with a rivet. Just an idea.

I knocked a chip out in a very similar spot. The door stop was out of adjustment and it hit the rivet. I would advise you to check it to make sure this isn't the cause.
