I got my GTS back from Heffner's Performance Center last weekend. As most of you probably know, when I first had it supercharged, it came back with 751 RWHP and 728 RWTQ. I was happy with the performance (who wouldn't be), but after a while, I just had to take it to the next level. I sent the car back to Jason for more work. Different pulley (12 psi boost); Autoform rollbar; B&B catback to go with the B&B headers, bigger injectors; wild, top-secret cam, software upgrade; Extrude Hone intake manifold; and some other little "tweeks".

Gary A delivered the car in his personal covered transport. It was like Christmas in October. The car was spotless inside and out. I got in, and we gently rolled it down the ramp onto the parking lot of the local Kroger store. I turned the key, and the beast fired up with a sound straight from Hell. Vipers are supposed to sound like this you know. Naturally, a crowd started to gather. One family was at a gas station on the next corner, and said they heard the car start up, and they had to come over to see what it was. What an exciting night.

Thanks go to Jason Heffner for a job well done. The car exceeds all of my expectations. I even heard that before Jason put the car into the transport, he had to take it for a quick spin just "one more time". He treats these cars like they were his children.

Thanks to Gary A also for the very professional, and careful job of getting my car to me in flawless condition. If you ever need to transport your Viper, call Gary A. He's a Viper lover who will treat your car with the utmost care.

What a car!!

Tell us how it feels once you've had a chance to get on it hard out on the open road - I know I never get sick of hearing how much fun these cars are!

Take care and enjoy your record holding car!! :2tu:

Russ,

Thanks for the kind words. I really do wish that car was mine! I guess Jason and I will just have to fight over it. It's a unique car (first supercharged Viper in the 9's!! woooohoooo!!).

The best part for me was watching you "rediscover" your car and the big smile as you noticed all the little (and not so little) things Jason did to your car. I couldn't believe how fast the crowd gathered in that parking lot (in the pouring rain!).

The best part is, I can't think of a more deserving person than you! A true Viper fanatic!

Good luck and talk to you soon.
