I'm not sure if this is the place to do this, but I wanted to say hello to everyone in the forum. I am 23 and a domestic car enthusiast. I currently drive a C5 Corvette, and plan to keep it, as well as one day get my hands on a used GTS. I know everyone here isn't a Vette fan, and that is ok with me, as I am not here to troll or make posts about my Vette, but to learn more about a car that I think is just incredible. I am envious of you guys that have a Viper, and even more envious of you guys that have more than one Viper. Anyways, I hope you guys don't mind me hanging out here. Have a good night!!! Geaux Tigers!!! :usa:

Welcome!
Any car that has endured 50 years and has earned the title "American Icon" must be doing something right.
We just happen to like Vipers a little more around here.

1. Welcome
2. If you buy a GTS, I'll bet you sell that C5 pronto.
3. Just a side note: While vacationing in Florida over the last few weeks, I saw a 53 white vette blast by me on I95 that must have been doing 80. I know it was a 53 as his license plate read: 53VETTE. Either he had that sucker floored or it was non-stock. Not a vette fan anymore, but I'd love to have that 53.

Many viper owners here, even if they do not admit it, either started with a vette, or still have one in the garage.

Welcome American Muscle. Even though you drive a C5 you are more than welcome here, besides anyone who says "Geaux Tigers" is alright. How about that LSU 21 Okla 14. :D When the day arrives and you get that GTS I'm quite sure you will want to get rid of the C5. I've had three Vettes a 66,69,and 75...but none of them can compare to a Viper it's a whole new driving experience in one of these cars.

Thanks for all of the greetings. I don't mind if there is GM bashing as I am not brand loyal. I like just about anything with a V8 or bigger. The only cars that piss me off are the little rice rockets with fart pipes. I do plan to keep my C5 though as I want to start a collection of automobiles of my liking. I have loved the C5 since they came out in 97 and have grown up around Vettes, so they are in my blood. I am glad that I have been able to reach my goal of owning one, especially at a young age and paying for it myself. I now look forward to a new goal of owning a GTS. There is no denying that a Viper will outperform my car, and that's cool by me. There will always be a faster car out there, but atleast I know there aren't too many. I love the Viper and want to have one in the garage one day. It is my newest goal. My outlook is this: If you don't keep goals in your life, you'll have nothing to strive for. Cheers!!!!
