Bought the car in Dallas and flew down, then drove it the 960 miles home to Cincy area, only stopping for gas. Had an XK8 that I also bought in Dallas and drove home, so I thought the Viper would be an especially fun drive and it was.
The Corvette was nice but just "not enough" for me.

Too late to steer clear of the cops. Just finished traffic "school". A 53-yr-old in a room of 30 17-yr-olds.

The way it sounds you're lucky they didn't shoot you or beat you to death. Anyway, I feel so much safer knowing that a 53-year-old went to traffic school. Now go forth and drive safe and if you spit on the sidewalk you'll be right back.</sarcasm>

Welcome fellow Cincinnatian! I have a 2000 GTS steel gray with light gray stripes. Keep me in mind when there are events. I joined the VCA months ago (sent in my money) and not a peep out of them. So much for good customer service. Had mine out today! 40 plus and sun. Get it while you can!

Gerald, it's early. You're mind must not be thinking clearly as we all know the cops don't care what color anyone is, they just want to wail on somebody.

You guys talking about that black guy that died while in custody?
While I'm very sorry to hear of anyone dying like that, I gotta say that the suspect did attack the cops first, was not responding to commands, resisting arrest, etc.
If any body think they can get all jacked up on ***, attack a cop, and not expect a negative outcome, they are dreaming.
I don't defend cops automatically, and I know they can be just as evil as the people they arrest, but in this case, as far as I know at this point, the cops are not to blame.
Lesson to the public is- Don't get jacked up on *** and attack cops. Not good for your health.
