BJ MOTORS
Enthusiast
I don't know if anyone has been in this same predicament but it's worth a shot to post. I am looking at the Park 7000 lift for my garage, but I keep running into a snag. I have had four garage companies come out and they can't help me find a way to put the lift in my garage with the garage door opening. The problem seems to be the following: I have a three car garage and the doors are seven feet, I have enough height in the garage, but my roof is on a pitch. The ones that can do something said I need a side mount motor, but are not willing to install because of the liabilities (new government liabilities do to safety standards. The Lift will fit fine and I have enough room side to side, the problem is the door opens to low, I know they make the track to open at a pitch (service stations have them and some rescue squads) I also know I can put a roll up door, but the wife is totally against this idea. So if someone has any solutions I would greatly appreciate your help. My goal is to put a lift that I can park another vehicle under and be able to get another car beside it. I will use it some for maintenance. Thanks
