I am installing an MSD RPM window switch in a 1997 GTS. The switch needs a 1 to 4 volt input from the negative side of the coil to trigger the relay. Does anyone know where such a trigger voltage can be found on a 1997 GTS. Help!! Thanks. PD

I tapped into the same lead wire from the PCM that was used for the shift light. See cook book recipes. Make sure your window switch is recalibrated for a V10 engine. This is done at MSD; they do not sell it calibrated off the shelf. As for the 1-4 volts; that sounds like the trigger singal for the NOS. Tap into TB wires that trigger signal and solenoids. hope this helps. Let me know if you need more info.

I tryed using the tap for the shift light but that did not trigger the RPM switch. The unit has been calibrated at MSD to work on a v-10. Are you also using the MSD switch? PD
