The Houston VCA had their monthly event today (Saturday, 11.19.05) and we have around 25 cars total come to the event. We all met at Starbuck's in the morning and then headed out on a 3 hour cruise. After the cruise, we ended up at Los Cucos for lunch! Thanks to all the Houston VCA members that came out today and thanks to all the guests that joined us. Don't forget, check your mail, we're planning the next event for December 17th called "A Viper Xmas"

And without further adue, here are the pictures from today's cruise...

WOW! You guys sure know how to have a meeting. I like that you have "other" car guys there too and that you actually cruise. All we do in Dallas is talk for an hour. We have never had a cruise meeting. We do goofy stuff like Viperball runs(scavenger hunt) and golf scrambles. If we do cruise it has to be a major production like going to a casino or a fall foliage run or wine tasting parties with over night stays and crap. Bunch of posers not car guys. We have never just drove our cars around the DFW area as a group and stopped for a couple of meals like you guys just did. Instead of just enjoying our cars we have to concentrate on some non-Viper type of activity. I don't even bother to go anymore. The last one was so boring with BS yapping I got a beer and went out in the parking lot and talked to other people that were looking at our Vipers. I guess I'll have to come to Houston for one of your meetings. :2tu:

Great pictures, awesome cars.....Is it just me or does anyone else agree that the Viper is a much better looking car then the Ford GT?

That was the fastest 3 hour cruise I have been on in a long time. Great turnout, we had a great time.

Thanks Peter & Albert.

Great pics. Mixed car gatherings are more fun because you can actually compare them side by side. I may prefer Vipers but other cars are still cool in their own way. Hope there was not too much rain.

Thanks houstonT for taking all those pictures. And thanks to Peter and Albert for taking the time and putting this all together-great job. Looking forward to the March road race event at the new Houston motor sport ranch too. Man we got up to some great speeds (of course in no traffic) and I enjoyed the match up between myself in my Oreca 91 replica and the 911 twin turbo, but the guy who kicked all of our butts was a gentleman with a 1000 hp turbo Totota supra. I can still smell his fumes!!!! Wow that car is fast. Keep up the good work-Houston Viper Club. See Yall at voi 9 !!

I agree. There is new life in our Houston Club with Peter and Albert running the show.

We are now having events where we get our and drive our cars and its nice to have some others join the fun too. I didn't even mind getting pulled HARD by one of the 900rwhp Supras.
