How do you aim the headlights?

The owners manual and the service manual both tell you how to "aim" the headlights by properly weighting the car/etc but skip the vital step of telling you where the actual aiming screw is, and/or if there's there's an easy access to it somewhere.

The aiming screws are behind the headlight assemblies I believe. I understand there is a cover that needs to be removed first.

It is under the hood on under a little black plug. It is on the side and I believe it is 10mm. The lights only adjust up and down. I will try to remember to take a picture.
