How many miles till broken in?

I am curious as to how many miles till I can get on it? What is the best break in procedure?

manual states 500, most people do 1000.

Take your pick:

Standard;
-500 mile break in, no WOT for 500 miles, RPM below 4000.
-Oil change at 200 miles and 1000 miles

Graduated 1000 mile;
-2500 RPM for 200 miles
-3500 for next 200
-4500 for next 200
-5500 for next 200
-ANY RPM range for last 200
-NO WOT for entire 1000 miles
-Oil Change at 200 miles, and 1000 miles

I did the "standard" but rolled it up to around 800 miles (I'm anal...). Also, did the oil changes at 200 & 1000. I have had absolutely zero mechanical issues so far. Over 8k miles now. Been up to 160 on a dyno, 150-ish elsewhere. Never an issue.

There are also a number of people who don't believe your clutch is fully broken in until 5000mi and same with the engine.
