I am looking to upgrade my 2000 Viper RT/10 with some performance parts from Dan Cragin at DC Performance in Los Angeles. (Their service is great!)

Question #1 - What HP gains should I expect from each mod?

K & N Air Filter ... ? HP
Smooth Tubes ... ? HP
Borla Headers ... ? HP
Corsa 3inch Exhaust ... ? HP
Randon Tech high-flow exhaust ... ? HP
Aluminum Flywheel ... ? HP
DC Performance Custom Computer Programming ... ? HP

Total HP gains ....... XXXX HP

Question #2 - What will the change be with respect to the exhaust note or overall sound of the car? Will it be way too loud?

Thanks,
Vipermann1 :usa:

Dan has an onsite dyno, and can probably give you the most accurate answer. He is knowledgeble, honest, hard working and a great guy. His shop is first rate, and has a stellar reputation.

I had a similar set up on my GTS (Except used SVSi headers and got about +50 hp. (Your experience may vary)

Dan did my B&B headers and full B&B exhaust. We took the cats off since i live in Illinois and have no emissions. Plus he did a good deal of warranty work and helped me by inspecting the car for me because i was buying out of state. I didnt even see the car besides a few pics. Dan did an awesome job. Great guy!

OK, Dan did my 2000 RT/10 and I did before and after dyno tests at the same facility, mods were:

K&N Filters
Smooth tubes
Balanger Headers
Balanger 3" catbacks
Randomtech Hi-flow cats
light weight flywheel
3.55 gears

The car gained 41 rwhp and 50 rwtq and sounds great.

My guess would be 35rwhp-40rwhp, might be more. The difference in sound is worth it if you lose 50 hp! :usa:

Well, maybe not, but it's alot better! :D
