I Found The Answer............

Last week I posted a thread requesting input on why my Viper was hard to start, then labored, and finally would blow out smoke (unburned gas) before it settled down to normal idle speed.

I received many suggestions from some kind readers and, in the process, I learned a great deal too. Given that my mechanical expertise is marginal, the only way was up.

Yesterday I took it to Crown Motors and this morning the Viper tech told me that I had at least 2 bad fuel injectors. Given that it's virtually impossible to identify the culprits, all 10 will be replaced. Thank goodness for my extended warranty!!!!

Thanks to those who responded. It's that type of intelligent, non condescending responses which keep me following this board.
