Last week I posted a thread requesting input on why my Viper was hard to start, then labored, and finally would blow out smoke (unburned gas) before it settled down to normal idle speed.
I received many suggestions from some kind readers and, in the process, I learned a great deal too. Given that my mechanical expertise is marginal, the only way was up.
Yesterday I took it to Crown Motors and this morning the Viper tech told me that I had at least 2 bad fuel injectors. Given that it's virtually impossible to identify the culprits, all 10 will be replaced. Thank goodness for my extended warranty!!!!
