I need a cigarette lighter assy for gen2

tore mine apart to install my nitrous setup years ago and now im going a different route if i ever re install the nitrous. i could use a cigarette lighter though.

anyone have a used one ?

Well I guess at this point I'm a little confused as to what part you are looking for. There aren't many choices here. You can have...

-> The panel and lighter.
-> Just the snap in lighter part.
-> Or..............?

You need the part that POPS in the panel!

I thought you were talking about that all along. You were meaning the lighter itself. The part that pops in and gets hot.

I just took mine out yesterday. You need to take out the entire bezel, unplug whatever plugs are there (so you can get at this thing to work)....theres a little nut on the back of the lighter assy like maybe 6-8mill or something. Just unskrew it. Righty tighty, lefty loosey. The lighter assy doesnt look like anything special. I think you can probably get a comperable fitting item at checker auto or some other place like that.

Walmart sells them. All you'd need is an MGW handle.

Thet're a Generic part. I changed mine over to one of the lighted ring stle that comes in some of the newer cars (another Walmart piece $8.). I had to file the hole slightly larger and add a 'light wire' to it, but it looks like a factory instal. Mounted the stocker beside the lighted one for my Nav power supply and the cell phone charger.

lol, its for a cell charger when im using the cell with navigation. (nav eats up battery)

ted, if the one i have coming, doesnt have the front pop in part, i will call mgw, thanx
