If I put a air to air intercooler on the paxton set up, how much more boost would I need to make up for the air volume if that makes any sense. I want to get rid of the air to water set up.

Do I need to get a smaller pulley on the Paxton supercharger to increase the PSI?

Err -- it doesn't make any sense to me, although IANST. The air volume of the intake downstream of the supercharger is primarily of interest for throttle response. For power, assuming you don't change pulleys, flow restriction is the main issue. If the intercooler you use has arount the same flow restriction as the air-water system it replaces, you can leave the pulley as-is and end up with the same power.

Pressure drop for an intercooler that size should be a little under 2 psi. Paxton has a number of smaller pulley sizes available.
