I\'m curious, how much did people pay for a service manual on a 1994 viper?

I was cruising thru this site and saw it for sale for about $60.00 bucks. Do I have a different one. Mine has a black front and paid quite a bit more for it. I'm wondering if I got a good deal. I didn't shop around. Oh, well..live and learn.

I've bought several through e-bay. Never been able to do as good as Cody though

I usually get them in the $40-$45 range, for that you get some soiling/use. After paying shipping (which can be outrageous as many ebay sellers make their money on the S/H (not the product), be sure to check S/H price BEFORE bidding), they end up around $50-$55.

If you look there now, most are near $40, but that is decieving as only the last minute of the auction really matters, that's when the buyers appear and drive up the price. I've seen manuals go from no bids to $60 in the last minute. Problem with e-bay is the more people use it, the more the prices start looking like retail....... or higher is the buyer gets into the "bidding mode"

You can buy new ones right from Chrysler for $60 + S/H and Tax... Ends up around $75 before you are done. That should be the bench mark price.

I just bid on one for a '98, I dropped out at $56... it was at $39 before the last minute of the auction

A '94 manual is pre-punched for a three ring binder. Nice hard plastic (solid, not plastic covered cardboard) that is designed to lay flat when opened. the Binder is red with a black logo..... it costs about $40 all by itself. When I buy the binder, service and parts manual as a group it is like $120! In either '96 or '97, they went to "bound" manuals.

Just bid and bought both for the 1996 (GTS & RT10), 2 service manuals in 1996. Each cost $31.00 + $3.50 S/H.
Look for the Ebay auctions by: phoenixbooks, the seller is:
