I\'m going to do the SCCA Solo II. Need advice from you experts
I plan on going to a local SCCA Solo II event. Basically, this event is just an open road course where you go around cones and no chance of really doing any type of damage to the Viper (Which I like). I've done one event before with a 300zx twin turbo and had a lot of fun.
Now what I am worried about are the corners..how should I take them. I know throttle on the corners will make me lose it, but do I speed up towards the corner and then off the throttle and just "glide" through then throttle up after the corner?
What are some good tips. I've been driving a Viper for two years and I'm on my 2nd Viper so I am a bit experienced in the car, but never did a road course or parking lot course with cones.
thanks!
The event is in Birmingham on Sept 16th if anyone is interested.
