Congrats... Be aware that most States are now running checks for under-reporting sales tax on used car sales if the reported price is a certain threshold under book. Got a smokin deal on my daughter's car and the got a letter from the division of taxation a month later requiring copies of checks and or bank statements from buyer and seller accompanied by a signed affidavit from each party...

Bought it before bidding ended. We worked out a deal, great guy. Should have it home in Chicago by Friday. That is of course after i check it out. This guy is straight up, can tell by talking to him. So much better then buying from a dealer. Not bashing any dealers, but you know what i mean. This guy is a total viper nut.
Not to mention the money i save on taxes LOL

Have never had this happen to me "knock on wood". I bought a 02-ZO6 back in 03. The girl at the exhange read it wrong and it looked like i paid 3500, instead of 35K. You get lucky every now and then. And im not usually lucky LOL

Yes... it was common practice not too long ago but this is a product of the evolution of the computer age and socialism:rolleyes:

Wouldn't have believed it if it didn't happen to me. Threats of heavy fines and loss of registration privelges to boot.

Welcome and I'll look forward to seeing you show it to us in Schaumburg someday soon.

Oh yeah, if you really wanna enjoy yourself, come to VOI XI.

Will definately do the meetings. Picking her up Wednesday. 45K miles on runflats are you kidding. Thats not even doing the speed limit. My ZO6, you dont even get 10K out of them. I track the vette, but still RF dont last worth a darn. The vette guys do nothing but ***** about them, i like them. Gonna try the Bridgestones next :)

Speaking of "the club", I hope you'll consider joining the VCA. No car club does more to help owners enjoy their cars than the VCA. The benefits are huge, and are listed here:

http://forums.viperclub.org/new-owner-questions/603453-new-viper-owner-time-join-vca.html

Right now, dues are pro-rated for partial year membership, it's just $130 for Venom membership and $95 for a regular membership.

If you have ANY questions about the club, please ask! Congratulations on your purchase, I hope it gives you years of trouble free fun.

Agreed. This place is worth its weight in gold!!!!!!!
