Did the take apart last nite, install part tonite.

Used Ab's thread on "how-to", which was great, although I have to say the instructions that came in the box were impressively good, in color, etc.

All went smooth, even the painful side sill front bolt wasn't bad since my expectations were set by the info posted here.

In Ab's thread Zorro posted that you don't need to drop the skid plate, as a mere mortal I had to drop the back half, I just don't see how it can come out in good shape without dropping the plate at least halfway, but that's me.

Big thanks to Adam, and folks contributing to the forum, very helpful.

Did you do the spot welding? I believe the key is to ensure that the rear muffler hanger bracket is tightened to specs and the muffler rear adjust bolt is super tight. I have had no issues with mine (shifting positions) without the spot welds.

Yep, after aligning & doing a heat cycle I ran up to a midas near my house to get a quick weld on each side. I throw a torque wrench on everything, a habit from dirt biking, to get everything to spec.
