Both my son (6'3") and I (5'10") noticed that there appears to be much more leg room in the driver's seat as opposed to the passenger's side. If both seats are all the way back, is this simply an illusion or is there an explanation?

Confused......

I drive with my seat all the way up and my knees and arms bent 90 degrees. My wife is 4'2 so we have no idea what you are talking about.

ps, she can fit in the drivers footwell without anyone ever noticing

Your right. I think with the glove box so low, it feels that way but, I think sitting in the passenger seat, stretch your legs out and you'll find there very close to the same.

Driving between FL and NY, my wife (5'3") and I (6'3") switched several times. I could not stand sitting on the pass side due to lack of room. Even with legs streched all the way forward I was uncomfortable.
