Is SRT going to be to GEN2 as H2 to Hummer?

It is possible that SRT will be cheaper than GEN2. So this way the value of the older Vipers will go down a lot. This is happening to the Hummer since new H2 will be 50% less. What do you think?

Absolutely not, and I think thats an unfair analogy. I'm buying both, and so I have researched both in depth.

The H2 is a production car, as compared with the 2k or so production of H1. To be a comparison, they would need to build approx 30k vipers in 2003. As we know they are keeping the same production numbers in Viper 03s.

The H2 is 40-50k, as opposed to 90+ in the old models. As we can guess, the Viper # MIGHT go down a BIT, but not 50%

So yeah H1 are gonna plummet in value ( I THINK), but unless 1) everyone sells their old vipers or 2) DC vastly increases production for vipers or 3) DC vastly reduces the price in the 03 viper. Theres absolutely no comparison here.
