As many of you know, my Viper was hit 3 weeks ago by an individual whom I described as Stevie Wonder.

I have been patiently waiting for DC to send the new parts since then. Yesterday, I was informed that I can expect the new bumper cover by the first week in August!!!!!! Meanwhile, I'm driving around in an $85K car held together by duct tape.

My dealer has called DC without any satisfaction. It is on "back order", whatever that means. I personally called DC in Detroit and was told that it would be looked into.

Any ideas from ya'll......................

get the zone reps name from the dealer and contact them, also call the star service center(also get this number from the dealer) good luck. Also try chuck tator.

Yes the front fascias #5029154AB are on back order [15 of them] and the "Supplier ship commitment" date is July 24! But there are 10 fascias in Dealers stock! If you want, give me a call and I'll give you those Dealers info and maybe you'd be able to get one sooner?

I just got off the phone with The Wizard. He went over the locations of the dealerships (10) who have a bumper cover in their inventory. The closest one to me was Landers Dodge, in Mississippi. Chuck gave me a toll free number and I spoke with their parts manager, Mike. Indeed he has what I need and I'm in the process of having it shipped to my local dealer.

Up until now, the Viper Community to me was simply a term which was bantered
about to let the world know you owned a Viper.

I can't thank Chuck enough for his time and genuine concern over my dilemma. Thanks to him, I should have my car back in service, sans duct tape, within a week.

Don, I know this is off-topic but, this past week I was having lunch at the finest mexican eatery in Gadsden (taco bell) A few friends were with me and I seen you pull up to the red light.
