On my '06 coupe I am getting a weird noise coming from the front drivers side of the car which sounds to be either the A/C belt/compressor or another pulley on the front of the motor. It only happens when the car has been run for a longer period of time or when the A/C is on. Almost sounds like rod knock (no it isnt the motor) just that is the best I can describe it as. I searched through the forum to see if anyone has had a similar issue and didn't find anything. An ideas? Has anyone experienced this before?

Keep in mind that your power steering pump also powers the fans...so, when engine is hot and/or A/C is on, expect to hear/feel the P/S pump doing extra work. I can hear/feel this as I come home from a drive in our 03 while backing into garage (no ram air flow to assist cooling), fans come on quite noticeably.

Be sure that you have correct level of P/S fluid (ATF+4 was your factory fill...reddish in color).

Have Tech check all pulleys and hardware soon !!
