Same tires... we did some "street" test runs last night

the grip seemed to be pretty good... it was still spinning, but it was a lot easier to keep straight

Hoosier has their 335/35 drag tires on sale for $85 a tire so I have ordered some of those but the first trip to the track is tonight

When you get the Hoosier drag tires they will be night and day from what you have on there now. Better stock up on half shafts.

Link? They have 335/35-17 R3S04 road racing tires on sale for $85/tire, but 335/35-17 Hoosier Drag Radials are still $199/tire.

Road racing tires=stiff sidewall
Drag radials=soft sidewall (and remarkably soft rubber, BTW)

My bone stock 94 did 8.4 in the 1/8. 7.2 is pretty fast, I'd like to see that, I bet you will be doing more than 95 mph at the end.
